SonyEricsson K750 is announced in 2005

Design

Heavily influenced by classic SonyEricsson design in areas of shape, colour and design, weighing in at 99 g and measuring 100 x 46 x 21 mm, the K750 is petite and relatively lightweight. The incredible 262,144 colors display is so bright and colorful, and provide more real colors of pictures and 3D images. The display resolution 176 x 220 pixel ideal for small and smart phone.

The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker, while on the other side we find a dedicated camera button. There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all SonyEricsson handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.

Ergonomics

The K750 is comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand. While the big display a numerical keypad placed on a small space offers appropriately-spaced keys and are not pleasantly comfortable in use.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent SonyEricsson handsets. The plastic keypad has good placed keys, giving it a cheap feel while oddly designed buttons, with the shrunken center keys for no apparent reason, make the phone harder to dial than necessary.Unfortunately, the keypad of the SonyEricsson K750 emits excess noise, but on the bright side its keys have been comfortably spaced and sized. We're not entirely happy with the design of the navigational pad and its adjacent buttons, however, as distinguishing between these less easy than it ought to be.And last, but not least, a five-way joystick centered below the display.

Features

In the WAN department, the K750 boasts healthy support for Tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz, as well as GPRS, SMS, and a range of applications such as WAP , Email client, Java MIDP 1.0, 40-channels polyphony, voice commands, FAX/Modem, Loud Speaker, all of which laptop and handheld users will be pleased to learn is a breeze to utilize either by means of infrared old wireless device, bluetooth high speed small range wireless device.GPRS support is the fastest way to download files with your mobile, and spacious phone book.

As previously mentioned, the K750 is also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera support for picture-taking and audio/video recording, as well as an integrated MP3 player. The latter of which is also the reason for why the 38 MB of internal memory, which initially appears spacious, is quickly stretched to its limits. The K750 also comes with an Memory Stick Pro Duo and expansion slot located under its battery,a 16-128 MB card comes bundled in the sales package, more space for images audio and video files, less time for PC and communication cable for updating internal memory, MP3 and MPEG4 are both formats which can be stored for playback on the SonyEricsson K750. The phone incidentally also offers up an integrated FM radio.

Performance

Audio quality on the K750 was crystal clear, and signal quality was good. The removable 900 mAh battery is rated for 4.5 hours talk time or 360 hours standby, which is very good for battery's theoretical capacity.Charge time is about 135 minutes.

Availability

The SonyEricsson K750 is now available throughout Europe in some language version.

Conclusion

SonyEricsson K750 is a beautiful phone to hold and use, and it's quickly won our hearts. The typical SonyEricsson design flair is present in abundance, with all the requisite consumer features to back it up.But love doesn't notice such little flaws.
