Motorola C250 is announced in 2003

Design

The classic style of Motorola design in areas of shape, colour and design, weighing in at 91 g and measuring 107 x 47 x 24 mm, the C250 is petite and relatively lightweight. The 4096-color display is dim, not very bright and crisp, but is a far step above the very dim 256-color versions on even the most recent Motorola models. The display resolution 96 x 65 pixel is not very high but is normal for low class phone.

The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker. There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all Motorola handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.

Ergonomics

The C250 is comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand.A numerical keypad placed below offers appropriately-spaced keys and are pleasantly comfortable in use.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent Motorola handsets. The plastic keypad has good placed keys, with the shrunken center keys for no apparent reason, make the phone harder to dial than necessary.Unfortunately, the keypad of the Motorola C250 emits excess noise, but on the bright side its keys have been comfortably spaced and sized. We're not entirely happy with the design of the navigational pad and its adjacent buttons, however, as distinguishing between these less easy than it ought to be.And last, but not least, a four-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

Features

Dual band 900/1800 MHz connectivity isn't all the Motorola C250 has to offer: there's also support for SMS, and a range of applications such as WAP , 16-channels polyphony, all of which laptop and handheld users will be pleased to learn is a breeze to utilize either by means of and spacious phone book..

Performance

Audio quality on the C250 was crystal clear, and signal quality was good. The removable 750 mAh Li-ion battery is rated for 5 hours talk time or 310 hours standby, which is very good for battery's theoretical capacity.Charge time is about 112 minutes.

Availability

The Motorola C250 is now available throughout Europe in some language version.

Conclusion

Motorola C250 is a beautiful phone to hold and use, and it's quickly won our hearts. The typical Motorola design flair is present in abundance, with all the requisite consumer features to back it up.But love doesn't notice such little flaws.
